The Twic East Community Association (TECA - USA) is a non-profit organization based in Newton, Iowa, dedicated to empowering its members.
We serve as a community-based association for Twic East families and individuals of the South Sudanese diaspora living across the United States.
Our aim is to provide welcoming events and spaces for members of all ages and backgrounds to come together, learn, and grow.
Through our cultural, educational, and social programs, we strive to foster a strong sense of belonging, preserve our shared heritage, and promote leadership and opportunity within our community.

Offering educational workshops, parenting sessions, and training programs that strengthen families and promote lifelong learning.
Empowering the next generation through recreational activities, arts and crafts, summer camps, and leadership development for youth that promote wellness and fun.

Hosting Sunday prayer services, health screenings, and outreach activities that nurture both spiritual and physical well-being.
